Bargin Basement
We're changing this up just a bit from the Gotta Go Tapes" page. The page is mostly the same, but we've changed the name so that we can also add other things that we need to get rid of; maybe overstocks of items or items we get in that we just can't use, but maybe someone else can. We'll try to keep the prices at bargain basement prices.
The tapes are tapes that have got to go! Many of these are duplicates and tapes that have been on the list for a while. Most of these tapes have been tested and play fine, but some have not. There are no obvious broken tapes on the list.
Here are some description codes
to help you understand the condition of the tapes. We try to be as honest as
possible.
MLB - moderate to light label bubbling
MHB - moderate to heavy label bubbling
DL - dirty label or dirty cart (stains, etc.)
SS - still sealed - These may not always be the original factory
sealed cellophane
TS - torn shrink-wrap or torn cellophane
CO - cut-out (a cut-out is a tape that was marked for discount.
They have a cut, burn, or drill-hole on the end of the cart to indicate
this.)
WL - writing on label
CRC - record club
CR - canadian release
PS - picture sleeve cover
WL - writing on label
BT or Boot - bootleg
FRNTLT - front label torn
BTMLT - bottom label torn

We have a box of approximately 50 tapes that we want to get rid of! I think they are mostly easy listening or country western tapes. There might be one or two that are broken. If you are interested in them (don't have a list of titles and won't provide one - sorry, just don't have time), and you're in the US, you can get them for $20. This includes shipping via Media Mail. Email us if interested. Outside the US, email us and we'll work something out.
We have some sleeves that some of our gecko friends visited. They left befind little deposits here and there and so some of the sleeves have some places on them where they did their business. Most, however, you are't very bad. It just looks that way when they are stacked together. Since I need to get rid of these too, they're just $.10 ea. I have about 200 of these available. Shipping will have to be parcel post or priority. Priority is just a little bit more and gets to you a whole lot faster. Email if interested.
